Rarely do Canadian brewers dabble with ‘flavored’ beers and ales. So it’s disconcerting when this attempt aims high, but fails to deliver. Elusive maple thickness and dank barley-wheat backbone merely haunt astringent honeyed finish, compromising integrity.
