Cellar-aged over several years, Belgian ale gained mustily vinous white-wined acidity and green grape esters to contrast ginger-spiced cider sweetness. Mild alcohol burn fades above dry Chardonnay sedation, tart lemon acridity and honeyed pale malting. (2007 version shown below)
