DEVIL MOUNTAIN FIVE MALT ALE

Opulent five-malt ale with chewy mocha creaminess and dwindling African black honey extract boasts efficient full-bodied retention. Scruffy fizz overwhelms fruity tartness and gentle grain base as black licorice finish finds middle ground between red ale and malt liquor. Brewery defunct: 2000.

    1. You’re just throwing words together in hopes of sounding like you know what you’re talking about. “Scruffy fizz overwhelms fruity tartness”? “Dwindling African black honey extract? Really?

This was simply the best-balanced ale I’ve ever found. It’s gone now. This lies in the SUCK column for me with Seagrams (who bought Five Mountain and shut it down).
