Floral perfume-hopped Pez-like raspberry tartness and soda-like alco-pop flow cannot overcome musty cereal-grained murk. Prickly carbolic fizz buries sweet wheat backbone while minor soapiness restrains lime-y mineral frolic. On second tasting, creamier caramel malts, tarter raspberry insistence, and tertiary blackberry-boysenberry-cranberry-black cherry illusions upped rating.

Sharp hop-fizzed ale flawed by over-carbonation and acidic nature. Pour slowly to avoid fluffy white head overload so as it settles the off-dry raspberry caress seeps forward better and pre-empts the waning grain-malt mesh. Mistakenly substitutes soft and sudsy for rich and creamy, retaining ample aromatic raspberry tartness.

Honeyed copper-hazed amber ale picks up raspy raspberry seed tartness and sour black cherry resin as caramelized biscuit-y wheat bottom sweetens mellowed hops. But soap-watered finish sterilizes any up-front stability. Note: In 2004, finer California version sampled.

Sweet raspberry tartness overwhelms dry pomegranate parch of clear straw bantamweight malt beverage. Some unripe white grape and cranberry undertones get strewn about thin wheat-husked backend. Gently fizzed lemon-limed seltzer-watered mouthfeel becomes artificially sweetened then completely washed-out.

Full-bodied fruit ale retains rich wheat base relegating explosive champagne-like fizz and faded bittersweet raspberry tartness. Not as distinct as better Star Brews. Brewery defunct: 2003.
