Exceptional dry-bodied garnet-highlighted black lager never done in by metallic copper ale rail. Barley roasted cocoa-chocolate malting picks up bulky molasses-toffee sweetness to counter oncoming oily coffee residue. Best of class. Brewery defunct: 2010.
