Busy mix never falters. On tap at Plantation’s Hurricane Grill & Wings, sweeter honey-fruited thrust receives herbal twinge.

Gimmicky seasonal amber wheat ale subtly plies exotic kieffer lime leaves to sedate bruised orange ripeness and lemon-candied tartness. Tamped down hops mildly consume cracked wheat sweetness and white bread subsidy.

Appreciable black currant-blueberry-raspberry juiciness inundates startlingly complex Belgian golden ale. On second passing, cherry soda vibe perks sugary malt overlay, bruised orange continuance, and honeyed undertones.

While in beautiful Maui, rust-hued Hawaiian microbrew was served on tap at the magnificent Hula Grill. Smooth up-front carbonation, soothed hop toasting, and sticky crystal malt sweetness climax in mellow hazelnut-induced wheat finish.

Complex deep-grained citric-spiced Virginian builds lithe herbal bouquet to complement grapefruit tang as sweet yeast sinew underlines cresting hop bitterness. Extremely alcoholic, full-bodied and hearty considering lighter ale class.

However, thin aftertaste lost in a sea of anonymity.

Dry barleywine essence enhanced by sweet mocha-spiced Scotch malts. Reminiscent of neighboring Ipswich Brewery (but with less yeast prominence). Multi-dimensional candy-like pleasantry fades quickly, but barley roasted spine provides wonderful assist.

From medieval Suffolk brewery with truly fresh water source, worthily peculiar golden ale integrates unexpected smoked bacon, burnt wood, and Band-Aid illusions with bulky grain-hopped char. Surprisingly rich, formidable, and coarse for mere golden category.
