Originally brewed under auspices of Aspen brewer Broadway, this moderate bitter retains lingering buttery Scotch-like calmness.

Lacey chestnut-hued English draught version succeeds despite initial light delivery pushing majority of flavor to the delicate finish. Atop crisp water flow, laid-back chocolate-mocha malts offer shades of blanched bitterness and debonair sweetness. Mowed hay and fresh cut wheat outline wispy hop guidance as subtle dark caramel and maple notes caress mildest coffee sourness mid-palate. Gentle giant could pass for lighter porter or busy brown ale.
