Bone dry magenta-headed purplish red-bodied fruit ale spreads black raspberry soda-like thrust atop red wine spritz to effervescent Seltzer finish. Sharp oaken hops coarsen impending mouth puckered lemony sourness.

Losing none of its tart raspberry luster in bottled version, this medium-bodied amber-hued fruit beer picks up lemony cranberry sourness and wavered floral tinge above thin wheat base.

Floral perfume-hopped Pez-like raspberry tartness and soda-like alco-pop flow cannot overcome musty cereal-grained murk. Prickly carbolic fizz buries sweet wheat backbone while minor soapiness restrains lime-y mineral frolic. On second tasting, creamier caramel malts, tarter raspberry insistence, and tertiary blackberry-boysenberry-cranberry-black cherry illusions upped rating.

Sharp hop-fizzed ale flawed by over-carbonation and acidic nature. Pour slowly to avoid fluffy white head overload so as it settles the off-dry raspberry caress seeps forward better and pre-empts the waning grain-malt mesh. Mistakenly substitutes soft and sudsy for rich and creamy, retaining ample aromatic raspberry tartness.

Honeyed copper-hazed amber ale picks up raspy raspberry seed tartness and sour black cherry resin as caramelized biscuit-y wheat bottom sweetens mellowed hops. But soap-watered finish sterilizes any up-front stability. Note: In 2004, finer California version sampled.

Sweet raspberry tartness overwhelms dry pomegranate parch of clear straw bantamweight malt beverage. Some unripe white grape and cranberry undertones get strewn about thin wheat-husked backend. Gently fizzed lemon-limed seltzer-watered mouthfeel becomes artificially sweetened then completely washed-out.

Full-bodied fruit ale retains rich wheat base relegating explosive champagne-like fizz and faded bittersweet raspberry tartness. Not as distinct as better Star Brews. Brewery defunct: 2003.

Ripe raspberry rasp juxtaposes soured blueberry-cherry tartness as peppery hops and vegetal earthiness caress wheat spine. Mild tobacco-roasted clover honey sweetness bedecks mild custard finish. Note: quaffed on tap @ Poughkeepsie’s Half Time before brewery bottled for distribution.

Mellow pink-headed ruby-bodied ‘malternative’ betters soda pop or lame wine cooler. Fulsome raspberry signature assaults champagne nose and tutti-frutti tongue. Supportive peach, tangerine, and red cherry tartness perks up sour cranberry-mulberry-strawberry ransom to bittersweet candi-sugared raspberry finish.

Though ersatz wheat fleck lacks prominence, tart raspberry presence and strong hop spicing outline sweet barleymalt refinement, but this style of brew has been made better elsewhere. Brewery defunct: 2005.

Rare Eastern Euro fruited beer with equally unexpected clear pink body retains dank raspberry sweetness and tart wine cooler slack. Cloying soda fizz prickles tongue and dubious vegetal waft lowers appeal. Beer defunct: 2008.
