Funky grape aroma consumes complex golden-bodied white-wined wheat beer. Sweet yeast, spicy cider, and floral hops merge at peaceful honeyed finish, but tangy citric grape recess falters and light carbonation needs more snap, crackle, and pop.

Indistinct hazy yellow ale loses retention as raw-honeyed citric fizz goes sour, inviting nasty phenol component to oxidize diacetyl vanilla-Chardonnay creaminess.

Original recipe hand-brewed golden-hued German wheat ale with mineral-grained dry wheat frontage and candied yeast sweetness maintains soft water texture for totally unobtrusive and indistinct ale only for amateurs. Nearby Cooperstown Brewery started brewing this by 2002, but by ’04 Kobors was retired.

Peppery lemongrass bittering slithers through easygoing Seltzer water flow of lightweight straw-hazed dry body. Trivial herbal spicing careens towards tepid wheat bread finish lacking mineral grain depth.

Vibrant spruce hop opening increases hazy pale summer ale profile as grassy wheat sustenance dominates polite peach-cherry-berry-mango tang, reticent white grape tartness and minor coriander tuft. By piney finish, orange-grapefruit peel bitterness consumes scaled down nutty remnant.

Sunny haze hue, fizzy hop tingle, and yellow fruit tartness reminiscent of tangy summer ale. Banana-peach-lemon adjunct brightens unfiltered dry wheat spine. Grainy finish receives aromatic honeyed maple nuance.

Closer to thin American chaffed wheat than sweet floral German Weiss, as dulled whiskey aroma and undermining maize finish blemish tolerant cork-like opening, sour orange continuance, and teasing chocolate malt whir. As it warms, hazy butterscotch profundity takes over.

Resinous amber-clouded alcohol-fueled ale maintains fine wine luster. Honeyed yeast heft receives vinous cider innuendo at resilient white grape-dabbed wheat wine finish.

Rarely do Canadian brewers dabble with ‘flavored’ beers and ales. So it’s disconcerting when this attempt aims high, but fails to deliver. Elusive maple thickness and dank barley-wheat backbone merely haunt astringent honeyed finish, compromising integrity.

Despite loopy name and silly mule-kicked miner on label (inspired by its Rocky Mountain legacy), sunshine-clouded ale doesn’t retain enough flowery hops to interest serious ale consumers. Weak sweet wheat sustenance falters by salted butter finish as hints of banana and lemon-lime fade into fizzy haze.

Slack honeyed malt sulk, listless grain-toasted snub, and grapefruit-soured cherry-berry marmalade skulk leave weak off-dry honey finish exposed. Further tasting reveals more prominent red grapefruit tang undercut by danker sucrose plethora.
