“Brazen” is an advertising overstatement. Instead, this well-rounded Brit-influenced oatmeal stout maintains a likable dark-roasted mocha malting and oatmeal sugaring above its coarse toasted hop char. Black chocolate, day-old coffee, espresso and peat illusions do the job as backup.
