HALF ACRE DAISY CAPRA DOUBLE PALE ALE

On tap at Ambulance, enigmatic pale ale fortifies “grigio-esque” wine profile and advertised raspberry-cantaloupe conflux with resinous shellac varnishing in favorable fashion. White grape midst gains Chardonnay splendor and orange-dried grapefruit tartness as well as teasing mango-papaya-guava tropicalia above dank barley-gristed hop musk. For experimental pale ale palates gone sour.

DOGFISH HEAD PENNSYLVANIA TUXEDO

Substantial spruce-infused pale ale contrasts refreshingly pine-needled spruce tip frontage and brisk juniper berry bittering against zesty lemony grapefruit tang and sugary crystal malting. Just below the surface, minty cologne musk and floral marigold-dandelion-lavender-lilac bouquet ride alongside sweet orange peel juicing. Resinous Douglas Fir-like conifer oiling drapes crisply clean citric-spiced finish.

YARDS CAPE OF GOOD HOPE IMPERIAL PALE ALE

“Balmy,” yellow-cleared, double dry-hopped pale ale retains balance and  roundedness as tangy grapefruit, orange, pineapple, mango and tangerine tropicalia receives mustily reedy dewiness and raw grained minerality (reminiscent of an Extra Special Bitter) above sweet crystal malting. Never overwhelming bitter. On tap at Triton – Long Beach Island, vibrant grapefruit-peeled orange zest and sweet pineapple juicing zinged lightly pined juniper hop bittering with uncompromising sturdiness.

TROEGS PERPETUAL IPA

On tap at Ambulance, bright yellow grapefruit tang and brisk pineapple-orange follow-up deepened by resilient citric-pined Cascade hop astringency. Juicy lemon nuances, polite floral wisps and key lime pie illusions come and go. In bottled version, lingering lemon seed bitterness contrasts sweet orange-peeled grapefruit and pineapple tang while mild alcohol astringency stays distant.
