Protracted citric hop simmer given subtle lemon fizz, floral peach-pear ebb, and quince hint. Washed-out faint bitterness and soft water flow lighten dry wheat-grass chaff to doughy finish. Despite lack of reputed creaminess, no negative traits disrupt this undistinguished middleweight.

PELICAN INDIA PELICAN ALE
Terrific floral hop nose informs smoked spruce-cedar wood tones while sweet yeast persistence echoes through crystal-pale malt median. Citric pineapple, grapefruit, and orange pith add tangy backend. Dryly bitter rosewood finish retains alcoholic luster for well-balanced, full-bodied golden-orange IPA.

PEAK ORGANIC NUT BROWN ALE
Enjoyable light-bodied dark ale furnishes sweet cashew-hazelnut roast and bittersweet black chocolate blast with slim orange-grapefruit bittering. Soft vanilla cadence and mild chicory nuance suit nutty finish well. Updated 2013 version (with generic label) afforded creamier mocha essence, richer caramel-burnt molasses penetration and deeper nut-charred hop roast.
