Wild berries invade Band-Aid-nosed pine forest linger and bitter orange peel discretion at smoky dry-hopped front end of medium-bodied translucent amber. Dried tobacco stint, vegetal carrot-beet splint, and slim mint hint conquer floral hop spicing contrasting surging caramel malt sweetness. An enthusiastic amber ale with deeply embedded IPA characteristics on the bitter end.

Soft unfiltered yellow-hazed American wheat ale brings tart banana breading to dry-hopped clove-coriander spicing, honeyed wafer backdrop, and white peppered hop tingle. Sour-candied lemondrop tartness seeps into mild banana-clove finish. But unassuming nature causes slight deficit.

Resinous dry porter maintains unsettling washed-out astringency, distracting chocolate malt roast and reedy Chinook hop bittering. Phenol cocoa-powdered toffee-cappuccino dalliance needs creamier caramel-vanilla depth and richer walnut-Brazil nut toasting.

Bittersweet grains given brisk-hopped dark citrus compensation at first sip. Then, burnt wood mouthfeel and orange notes emerge for crisp yeast-backed mineral finish. But lack of resilience lowers its true Bavarian appeal.
TRINITY RED ALE
Refreshingly fruited Irish Red Ale forms roasted barley easement through effervescent apple-peach-grapefruit tang and ripe pumpkin sass. Spruce-hopped malted rye sweetness grows tangentially. Meager dark spicing picks up agave hint. Crafted by nearby Goose Island Brewery for Trader Joe’s shopping chain. Brewery defunct: 2003.
