On tap at Hoover’s, signature Sculpin IPA given headlining grapefruit tartness to combat moderate lemon-bruised juniper bittering. Tangy citrus continuance guides lemon-bruised grapefruit zesting thru light piney hop resin.

On tap at Ambulance, wonderful flagship brew seizes upon all things good in a sunshiny medium-bodied IPA. Zesty grapefruit-peeled pineapple, orange and mango tropicalia fueled by resinous earthen pining as well as dank cannabis above mild flaked oats-wheat spine. Tertiary floral-daubed peach, passionfruit and papaya illusions push up against lightly lingered finishing astringency. Recommended.
On tap at Ambulance, interestingly abstruse double dry-hopped cocktail collaboration (with Copenhagen’s Dry & Bitter) connects rummy coconut-milked pineapple juicing of a pina colada with orange-juiced champagne fizz of a mimosa. Brisk lemony grapefruit zest secures IPA-styled midst. Light pilsner malting softens ester-fruited English ale yeast setting.
Stiff vodka kick rampages alongside candy-glazed tropical fruiting and understated clay-hopped pine needling. Advertised wet-wooded hop ‘dankness’ is nearly a misnomer. Instead, sugar-coated grapefruit, orange, tangerine, pineapple and mango tanginess battles back rubbing alcohol burn (13% ABV). Musky fennel, rosemary (?), hibiscus and ethyl undertones go awry.

Remarkably refreshing straw beige-hazed medium body maintains hearty robustness – especially for a fruity Citra-hopped IPA. Spritzy lemon zest brightens tart grapefruit juicing and mild lime acidity while spicy candy-glazed pineapple, orange, tangerine and peach tanginess adds punch. Tropical fruit blitz overrides mild herbal restraint and barley-floured caramel malting.
