FLYING MONKEYS JUICY ASS IPA

On tap at Hoover’s, crisply clean-watered medium body freshens tongue with grapefruit-juiced tangerine, passionfruit, pineapple and peach tang as well as zesty lemondrop souring above dry pale malting. Mildly resinous floral-herbed hop dankness gains grassy astringency to fend off piney citrus finish. In the can, ‘sassy’ semi-sharp Canadian IPA lets grapefruit-peeled orange rind bittering and ancillary tangerine, pineapple, mango and passionfruit tang receive danker piney hop resin.

INDUSTRIAL ARTS SPRING LANDSCAPE

On tap at Seven Lakes Station, nebulous pale honey bock brings musky wet-grained Vienna malting to slightly viscous raw honey astringency and spicy hop tingle in relegated manner. Closer to a dewy autumnal ale than a springtime bock. On second passing, raw-honeyed orange souring gained musky black tea rusticity and minty lavender afterglow that’s muskier and sourer than stylishly expected.
