BROOKLYN WILD STREAK ALE AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS

Elegant caramel-spiced Belgian pale ale contrasts sugar-caned fruit sweetness with light brettanomyces yeast earthiness and dry Scotch tinge. Subtle bourbon warmth soothingly softens orange-dried cider tartness, buttery Chardonnay respite, oaken vanilla niceties and mild banana daiquiri illusions. Tertiary pineapple, apricot, red apple, pear and peach nuances drift in and out.

NOLA HOPITOULAS IPA

Pleasant silver-canned moderation maintains stylishly soft tone crossing dewy peat musk of English-styled IPA with citric Amarillo-Simcoe hop bite and resinous piney bittering of American IPA. Mild floral herbage seeps into dainty orange-peeled pink grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, mango and peach tones above muted earthen bottom.

DU CLAW HELL ON WOOD BOURBON BARREL AGED BARLEYWINE

On tap at Poor Henry’s, excellent Devil’s Milk barleywine gets draped in Kentucky white oak bourbon barrels for an intensely complex summertime adventure. Luxurious bourbon sweetness gains light cognac lilt as zesty grapefruit peel bittering and sharp citric hop bite reveal sunny underside girded by pale, wheat and melanoiden malt dryness. On the sweet side, toasted coconut, almondine, maple molasses and toffee illusions gain attention alongside subtler plum-raisin conflux.
