On tap at Morris Tap & Grill, stylishly bitterer milkshake IPA lacks milk-sugared vanilla sweetness, strawberry pureed insistence and ample Citra-Mosaic hop zesting. Instead, lactic ethyl esters pick up veritable fruit-spiced vodka vibe above mild oats-dried malt bed.
On tap at Morris Tap & Grill, foeder-barreled gin adjunct affects musky green grape esters and orange liqueur spurt, leaving burnt rubber astringency on its trail. Vinous white wine souring gains buttery Chardonnay sedation to compromise ginny juniper ethers of offbeat alcohol-loaded saison hybrid.
On tap at Poor Henry’s, sourly tropical Mexican lager’s an acquired taste. Splashy agave-cologned lime peel zesting given mild sea salting over musky hop stead.
On tap at Poor Henry’s, softly creamed lactobacillus-soured stout collides lemon-oiled raspberry puree tartness with bitter cocoa-nibbed dark chocolate malting. But the sour raspberry rasp never quite congeals with its mighty mocha romp or latent vanilla bean murk.
On tap at Poor Henry’s, dryly tropical New Zealand-hopped pilsner retains subtle kiwi tartness above bready pilsner malting and raw millet groats. Dewy botanical kiwi adjunct leaves soft-toned gooseberry, cucumber, honeydew and melon rind illusions on the tongue. Mellow pilz pleaser.
