“Sublimely intense” moderate-medium body overwhelms advertised blackberry tartness with sharp orange rind, grapefruit and pineapple tang that’s embittered by herbaceous dry-hopped astringency and refreshingly coniferous earthen musk. Sweet peach, mango and tangerine illusions fill out the backdrop nicely.
Well balanced moderate-medium body spreads musky wood lacquer over tangy grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine and orange juiciness while milder brown pear and brown apple illusions flutter below. Cookie dough yeast and caramelized barley sweeten the fructose sugars, outlasting any bitter pine resin.
Solid moderate-medium body retains sunny disposition as mild orange-peeled grapefruit, peach, pineapple, mango and tangerine tang (as well as wispy lemon-perfumed oiling) guard its dank piney hop pungency. Creamy pastry-like pale malt sweetness picks up vanilla notions underneath.
