Smoothly exemplary bourbon-barreled version of excellent Storm King Imperial Stout brings chewy molasses malting and peat whiskey waft to softly creamed cocoa-buttered black chocolate setting. Oaken vanilla laces sweet blackberry-brandied Kahlua, crème de cocoa and pureed cherry illusions to soothing bourbon finish. A marvelous nightcap.

VICTORY YAKIMA GLORY I.P.A.
Wondrous updated version of Yakima Twilight (circa 2011) better defined as mahogany-hued Cascadian Dark Ale (or trendy Black IPA). Abundant citrus splurge and resonant stone fruiting more pronounced than blackened hop char. Smooth dark-roasted caramel malting and powdery cocoa acridity harmonize well with grapefruit-soured, prune-stewed cherry-berry conflux. Resinous pine nuts crease burnt toast bottom.
VICTORY HEADWATERS PALE ALE
Bold amber-hazed pale body closer to brisk piney fruited IPA. Sharp grapefruit-peeled orange rind bittering and rising lemon peel tang heighten hop-oiled juniper berry bite. Bright pineapple, mango, tangerine, kiwi, pear, and quince fruiting sweetens caramel malt backdrop. Resinous wood-grained alcohol assertiveness plies grassy hop bottom.

VICTORY HARVEST PILS
Rustic German pilsner pleats leathery barnyard astringency with wood-dried lemon rot, peach mold, and mildewed orange coarseness. Mowed grass, horsehair, hay, and alfalfa harbor raw wheat backdrop. Iodine-like alcohol acridity, vegetal anomaly, and cardboard papering nearly sabotage protracted citric pungency.
VICTORY SAISON DU BUFF
Brewed in conjunction with established microbrewers Stone and Dogfish Head, Victory’s version utilizes a boatload of complexities to disseminate parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme seasoning. Crisp water base underlies clover-honeyed floral-spiced lemon peel bittering. Subsidiary coriander, allspice, and ginger drape piquant peppercorn insistence. Tangy lemon-peppered grapefruit-tangerine-orange briskness shines through busy herbal finish.
VICTORY YAKIMA TWILIGHT ALE
Well-attenuated strong ale (recalibrated as Yakima Glory by 2011) celebrates West Coast IPA ‘hopping’ with luscious caramel-malted full-fruited tang. Loud wood-dried piney-hopped grapefruit rind bittering nearly overwhelms ripe peach-apple-berry conflux and vinous white grape esters. Brown leafs, green grass, and earthen minerals fill out citric-parched backdrop.
VICTORY HELIOS
Pour slowly hazy golden summery saison or billowy foam will coat glass of moderate-bodied compost-scented Belgian-styled farmhouse ale. Fulsome carbolic spritz indulges black-peppered grassy-hopped bittering, nearly overwhelming candi-sugared lemony grapefruit tang glistening above creamy mildness and dry earthen floral nuance. Tart lemondrop finish lingers over tertiary peach, apricot, and green grape illusions.
VICTORY FESTBIER
Deep-grained copper-toned Dortmunder-styled Octoberfest lager balances sour wheat-breaded Vienna-malted frontage with bitter floral-hopped herbal tea nuttiness. Secondary biscuit-y nuance picks up subtle lemony berry-gourd dalliance at alcohol-soaked finish. Serve to indiscrimiate German Marzen fans.
VICTORY HOP DEVIL INDIA PALE ALE
Love the catchy li’l colourful label of this bold ‘n spicy, citric-juiced, full-bodied pale ale. Fine piney hop bittering, zesty grapefruit-orange-mango bite and deep dark-grained barrage reminiscent of California and Colorado microbrews. Lingering berry notes furnish moderately bitter citric-peeled finish.
VICTORY ST. BOISTEROUS HELLERBOCK
VICTORY TEN ALE
Uncompromising Belgian-inspired ‘ruby’ rich barleywine-styled 10th anniversary ale gains strong liqueur appeal, buxom chewy yeast texture, and turbid cherry cola haze after cascading butterscotch bubbles settle. Plum wine overtones gradually recede to ester-y red grape dryness. Black cherry, clementine, and cider illusions thicken brandy finish curtailing soured raisin-date aftertaste.
