BENEDIKTINER WEISSBIER
Not as good as Germany’s premier Paulaner and Franziskaner hefes, lacking convincing banana-clove thrust. Sputtering banana bubblegum sugaring and gingery nutmeg-cardamom spicing (and herbal residue) lost amongst mildly creamed vanilla froth, leaving feeble raw-honeyed lemony orange musk. But its eggy sourdough breading retains proper hefeweizen luster.

Fizzy lemon-soured herbal frontage outdoes stylish banana-clove sweetness atop white wheat base to ‘crisp, dry finish’ of filtered German-styled Japanese krystalweiss.

On tap at Taphouse 15, briskly carbolic saison conditioned on prickle pear stays tart as polite watermelon-strawberry vibe gathers around lemon-oiled herbage atop salted wheat dryness.
MILLSTREAM PAIN MANAGEMENT BLONDE ALE
Brisk, crisp, citric-dried hop stead certifies fizzy lemony orange candied spicing embedding gluey sugar-wafered white wheat base. Mild strawberry, pear and quince illusions flutter. Simple, soft-toned, golden-hued pleasure lighter IPA thirsts may enjoy.

On tap at Pompton Craft House, lively lemon musk spritzes across raw-grained pilsner malts and herbal hops, gaining slightest lemony grapefruit zing and mandarin orange swipe in the fizzy midst. Closer to a sunny yellow fruited blonde ale than a traditional helles lager.

Dewy mildewed earthiness clogs mild coffee patter, snug dark-roast hop bittering and feint nut char of middling dark lager.
