On tap at Beef Trust, hazy New England-styled IPA utilizes muskily hop-oiled sour fruiting to set the stage as waxy floral citrus tones spread above dry pale malts. Guava-soured grapefruit rind and orange pith bittering contrasts less prominent pineapple, peach, mango, lychee and papaya tanginess to its tart lemondrop finish.
Nicely re-creating super-sticky skunked weed with its piney ganja resin and dank hemp pungency, briskly clean dry-hopped India Pale Ale also regales lemony orange-peeled grapefruit rind bittering and dainty peach-pineapple-tangerine tanginess with pink peppercorn flourishes. Wispy tarragon, dandelion and carnation snips flutter. A fine strain.

On tap at Taphouse 15, engaging amber yellow-hazed New England-styled IPA brings sunny Citra-Mosaic-hopped lemony grapefruit tartness to lime-salted passionfruit and guava pucker as well as bittersweet lactose-aided Madagascar vanilla creaming. Limey passionfruit-guava adjuncts receive peppery herbal respite and floral chrysanthemum wisp at the finish.
On tap at Ambulance and brewed in collaboration with Sierra Nevada to support Camp Fire Relief Fund, Naptime’s version seems directed at typical middle-of-the-road IPA lovers. Sharp citrus fruiting and reserved earthen pine resin override dry pale malt base. Lemony grapefruit-orange-tangerine tanginess and honeyed cantaloupe sugaring sweeten the midst.
