MAGIC HAT FEAST OF FOOLS HOLIDAY STOUT
Jet black-hued reddish meringue-headed stout retains up-front maraschino cherry and Black Forest cake illusions, settling to frothy espresso-coffee finish. Dry prune deepness tucked beneath tart raspberry-blackberry-grape confluence receives minor tar-charcoal-molasses recess, retaining citric acidity of brewers’ fruitier fare.
MAGIC HAT THUMBSUCKER VERMONT IMPERIAL STOUT
Spectacular cedar-barreled bottle-conditioned ‘epic elixir’ with ebony hue and swirled sienna head conveys convincing alcohol-fueled Wild Turkey whiskey entry for bourbon-sherry-port theme thickened by stewed prune perpetuity, sour raisin-fig sequence and maraschino cherry serenade. Creamy chocolate syrup richness conjoins medicinal warmth countering dry vinous oaken vanilla finish, preserving initial dewy dried fruiting.
MAREDSOUS BLONDE
(MCAUSLAN) ST. AMBROISE OATMEAL STOUT
Lavish oatmeal cookie palate receives rich barley-roasted chocolate malting, dry coffee-burnt bitterness, and mild maple nuttiness. As bottle empties, rounded stout gains fudge-y creaminess. Uncommonly robust Canadian thirst quencher compares favorably to almighty Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout and Ipswich Oatmeal Stout.

Obvious Tex-Mex tequila-agave assertion goes fine with lemon twist. But too delicate and unassuming, lacking distinction from fizzed pilsner mouthfeel to light grained finish.
