Botanical sloe gin-fizzed cocktail spirit too low in the mix to perk up stylishly underwhelming barleywine. Interesting, but inessential.

On tap at Blind Tiger, indeterminate medium-full body lets toasted coconut adjunct get lost amongst murky caramel-burnt chocolate spicing as well as coffee-burnt cola, hazelnut and walnut sequence. Distant red and purple grape esters waver.
On tap at Growler & Gill, indefinite medium-bodied brown ale brings modest macadamia nuttiness to dry-spiced chocolate roast and lightly charred hop astringency.
