On tap at Ambulance, clean hazy beige yellowed NEIPA brings New Zealand-hopped white-wined grape esters to polite yellow grapefruit bittering, zesty lemon liming and resinous pine daubs above mild wheated oats in salty oceanic setting. Crushable summertime easygoer.

NON SEQUITIR I’M A WRECK RIGHT NOW DOUBLE IPA
Gin-soaked pineapple, gooseberry and guava souring and mildly embittered yellow grapefruit tang show off New Zealand hop tropicalia fortified by sugary pale malt base.
THREE FLOYDS CHEER TEAM DOUBLE IPA
On tap at Ambulance, supposedly “enigmatic” soft-toned dry body retains juicier citrus bittering and danker pine resin than usual IPA’s – but not as dramatically as advertised. Zesty yellow grapefruit and orange pith bittering contrasted by less profound lemon-candied peach, tangerine and pineapple tang.
FINBACK ULTIMATE BEATS DOUBLE INDIA PALE ALE
On tap at Growler & Gill, subtle gin-soaked coconut flourish yields to stylishly sunny grapefruit-orange-peach tropicalia and mild floral-doused pining of Mosaic-hopped medium body (collaboration with Miami’s J. Wakefield).
JESTER KING CITRUS FROOT DIRECT FARMHOUSE INDIA PALE ALE
On tap at Seven Lakes Station, lactic saison-styled IPA fermented with cryo-hopped Hamlin and mandarin orange relegates Orangina/Mimosa comparisons and honeysuckled orange blossom perfuming for gin-soaked citrus souring (and cat-pissed ammonia acidity) above raw oats-flaked pale malt neutrality.
JESTER KING SNORKEL
On tap at Ambulance, sour lactobacillus yeast brings gose-inspired alderwood-smoked sea salting to oyster mushroom umami mossing and truffle-like earthiness guarding lemon-limed yellow grapefruit bittering of arid hybridized farmhouse ale enjoyed more by those with a taste for citric-laced oceanic salinity.
HUDSON VALLEY CONFETTI SOUR IPA
On tap at Growler & Gill, mild limey grapefruit bittering, brisk lemon zesting and wispy green grape esters ride above complacent yogurt-soured wheat bed.
SPRINGDALE MARG PARTY
On tap at Seven Lakes Station, classic cocktail-inspired Margarita knockoff only gets it half right. Tart lime-juiced orange zesting works, but smoked sea salting strangely scoffs citric souring.
CONNECTICUT VALLEY APRICOT SOUR
On tap at Hoover’s Tavern, subtle apricot souring hidden by fizzy lemon limed bittering contrasting sweet peachy snip. A tad arid, acidic and unassuming, but briskly crisp.
DESTIHL WILD SOUR SERIES: FLANDERS RED
On tap at Ambulance, wholly soured Flanders Red stays dry as acidic red-wined tannins overrun “tart cherry candy,” vinous raspberry bittering and limey lemon licks. More sour than tart as oaken cherry acridity defines stylistic departure.
MODIST DOUBLE RASPBERRY ENDLAYER FRUITED GOSE
Tart pinkish mauve gose with milky yeast clumps offers sea-salted raspberry puree and pulpy orange juicing to wheated pilsner malting, leaving mild lime-soured guava and pink grapefruit respite on the coriander-salted raspberry rhubarb backend. Briskly crisp.

BURLINGTON BEER RASPBERRY WHALE CAKE CREAM ALE
On tap at Growler & Gill, sour coral red-cleared ‘whale cake’ lets limey raspberry tartness grip mild grassy hop astringency over dry corn husking. Subsidiary cranberry, lingonberry and oaken cherry souring deepens puckered raspberry vinegaring.
