EVIL TWIN DOUBLE BARREL JESUS IMPERIAL STOUT AGED IN BOURBON

Luxuriously complex full-bodied stout aged in bourbon drapes muscavado-sugared molasses sap and fudgy black chocolate syruping on spicy dried fruiting to contrast tarry dark-roast hop char. Oaken bourbon vanilla midst gains burgundy, port and whiskey boozing. Mild black coffee, chocolate mousse, dark cherry and marshmallow illusions surface at rich bourbon-doused mudcake finish of 12% ABV dessert treat.

KASTEEL BARISTA CHOCOLATE QUAD

“Elegant” dried-fruited mocha entry gains molasses-smoked toffee sweetness and vanilla-spiced caramel malting to contrast recessive black chocolate-roasted milked coffee bittering. Sugared fig, raisin and date nuances abound. Wispy bourbon vanilla licks gain peaty tobacco roast beneath the surface. Gentle on the tongue despite heady 11% alcohol warmth. 2017 re-tasting: Sweet-spiced chocolate liqueur entry gains bourbon, molasses, vanilla, toffee,  caramel and Turkish taffy tones and an herbal nip.
